The Valley Education Fund:
The Valley Education Fund is a non-profit organization which operates with the sole purpose of collecting and distributing funds to further educational activities in rural South Africa. In 2011 the VEF distributed 16 bursaries of R12,775 for each student.

The Poloafrica Development Polo Program:

This program, run by Catherine Cairns of Uitgedacht Farm, has the primary purpose of uplifting rural children in our area. Through the use of sport and animal husbandry the children are encouraged to do well at school. They receive life skills training and bursaries to help pay their living costs, school fees, uniforms, transport, and polo.

Mautse Valley of the Sacred Sangoma:

Just over the mountain from us is one of the largest Sangoma Teaching Schools in South Africa. Guests can drive around the mountain to visit these traditional healers or make a pilgrimage by foot.
