Stars
There is no
place like the quiet countryside in the Southern Hemisphere for
an array of stars like no other. If rest and relaxation are
what you are looking for, drop in and drop out. The lack of
television and poor cell signal at the Lodge, are mentioned by
many as a bonus. Leave the hustle and bustle of the big city
behind and prepare to “just be.” The steam hut at Franshoek
Mountain Lodge will help you unwind into the long, peaceful
days with the noticeable absence of “white noise.”
Take an
afternoon to stroll and absorb the peace of our Valley. Visit
the Cave area and waterfall or go bass fishing in one of the
dams. Rod has perfected the art of the South African “braai”
(i.e. barbeque), which he does frequently from his cottage
with a choice view overlooking the polo field.
